Corvette Raffle Rules
You must be 18 years or older to participate

Donations for the 2008 St. Mary's Parish Corvette Raffle are:
1 ticket for $10
6 tickets for $50
12 tickets for $100
Donations are not tax-deductible contributions
Online payment is accepted via VISA and MasterCard. Mailed-in donations may be in the form of checks or money orders and should be made payable to St. Mary's Church and sent to:

Tickets will be mailed within 10 working days.
If an entrant's check or credit card is dishonored by the bank or credit card company, the entry ticket(s) will be invalid unless full payment plus bank service charges are received by St. Mary's Parish prior to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 17, 2008. Dishonored checks or credit cards are expected to be honored at entrant's earliest convenience.
ALL Tickets MUST be received by St. Mary's Parish prior to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 17, 2008 to be eligible for the drawing.
WINNER NEED NOT BE PRESENT.
Quick Cash Drawing: $1,000 cash. All tickets received prior to St. Mary's Parish Summerfest. Date: June 21,2008 will be automatically entered into the Quick Cash Drawing. The winner WILL STILL be entered into the MAIN Corvette Drawing in October.
MAIN DRAWING IN OCTOBER: Drawing will occur as follows: the 3rd Prize winner will be drawn first, then the 2nd Prize, then the Grand Prize. Once you have been selected for a prize you are NOT entered in the subsequent drawings.
Grand Prize: The winner will receive a 2008 Corvette Convertible (with limited promotional miles; MSRP $57,000) or $40,000 cash. Winners choice. The car was purchased from:

The winner will be posted on the website at http://vetteraffle.org, St. Mary's Parish.
The winner will be determined via a random drawing on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at approximately 7:00 pm at the St. Mary's Parish. The winner will be notified by phone and/or mail on October 18, 2008 if not present. The car will be available for pickup after this date. St. Mary's Parish is located in North Central Ohio. The winner is responsible for all licensing, registration, title, license plate, dealer preparation, shipping and all other fees, and local, state and federal taxes, including without limitation and all applicable sales, use, luxury, income and special taxes. St. Mary's Parish specifically disclaims all expressed or implied warranties, including without limitation warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose regarding the 2008 Chevrolet Corvette vehicle.
Vehicle will not be modified by St. Mary's Parish to meet specific local, state, or country requirements. Winner agrees to accept the vehicle as built for U.S. licensing and registration requirements. Winner will be responsible for any modifications required for import to a country outside of the U.S.
Winners agree to pay 25% federal income tax withholding to St. Mary's Parish prior to release of the Corvette. St. Mary's Parish will submit the taxes collected to the IRS. After the end of the year, St. Mary's Parish will file a form W-2G with the IRS to report the value of the prize won and the taxes paid in by the winner. The winner will receive a copy of the W-2G.
The winner(s) agree to the use of his/her name(s), address(es), photograph(s) or video(s), and statements on our website or in other media, for promotion and publicity by the St. Mary's Parish Corvette Raffle; the winner(s) agrees to sign a publicity release without any further compensation.
In the event the Corvette is damaged or destroyed, St. Mary's Parish's liability is limited to insurance recovery; the Corvette will be insured throughout the duration of the raffle.
All proceeds, less prizes and expenses benefit St. Mary's Parish. St. Mary's Parish a 503(d) Non-profit Organization. It is a parish in the Diocese of Cleveland.
Purchasers of raffle tickets must legibly write their names on each raffle ticket. If more than one name is listed on the ticket, the first name listed shall be considered the entrant. St. Mary's Parish shall, will, and can have no obligation for delivery to any person other than the entrant.
Retain your raffle ticket stub. In the event of any dispute or controversy concerning the winner of the drawing, you will be required to produce your raffle ticket stub.
